Meal planning, cleaning routines, organization, and caring for a home.
Milwaukee area · Wisconsin
Person-centered support for children and young people through CLTS, plus adult daily living and life skills inquiries.
What we teach
Teaching is tailored to each person’s goals, learning style, culture, and natural supports.
Meal planning, cleaning routines, organization, and caring for a home.
Budgeting, scheduling, decision-making, and useful digital skills.
Transportation practice, community resources, safety, and participation.
Personal routines, communication, self-advocacy, and growing confidence.
The Abide difference
Abide’s daily living and life skills service is instructional. Staff model, coach, prompt, practice, and celebrate progress with the person.
Abide’s skills program is not Supportive Home Care and is not designed as ongoing housekeeping, personal care, or chore completion for a person.
How it works
A person, family member, care manager, or consultant contacts Abide.
We learn the person’s strengths, priorities, routines, and support needs.
Together, we create practical, measurable goals and a teaching plan.
Skills are taught where life happens, with support gradually reduced as confidence grows.
For care teams & partners
Abide is a qualified Wisconsin CLTS provider. Our adult program design aligns with teaching-oriented long-term care services and keeps clear boundaries from hands-on Supportive Home Care.
Service availability depends on individual eligibility, authorization, and Abide’s applicable enrollment or contracting status.
Inquiries are accepted for services listed in Abide’s CLTS directory profile and authorized for the individual participant.
Teaching and training to build independence in daily activities and community life.
Individualized instruction that supports meaningful, self-directed goals.
WHY ABIDE EXISTS
Abide Supportive Living was founded by Keana Spencer, a Milwaukee-raised healthcare entrepreneur and founder of Solace Grove Behavioral Health. After years of building care organizations, she saw the gap between services that do for people and services that build what lasts — skills, confidence, and a life on your own terms.
Abide exists to close that gap, one person and one skill at a time.
